Bobby Chin is a qualified Horticulturalist and Chartered Architect with a passion for cultivating outdoor space through imaginative garden designs.

With experience in Architecture and a wide working knowledge of plants, Bobby offers his clients a richer language and scope in any space and garden design project.

For more than 15 years Bobby has, in practice, worked on and managed a diverse range of multi-million pound architectural projects and privately on various domestic developments. To further his ambition of becoming a garden designer, he achieved in July 2006 a Double Distinction on the renowned Merrist Wood College’s Horticulture course. His passion for garden, plants and form is clearly demonstrated in his Bonsai collection. This has developed over many years with Bonsai Master-student instructions from the World famous Peter Chan, multiple Chelsea Gold Medallist.

Bobby enjoys the challenge of creating space in the garden through the intelligent use of materials and plantings. His architectural background gives him detail knowledge in the creation of uncluttered space with clean lines. While his approach to design is modern, the inspirations are informed by tradition.
